Towards a connected history of population, environment,

The Land Limits project explores the environmental impact of population increase across northern Eurasia during the last decades of the Russian empire and the early years of the Soviet state. Our research team aims to understand the economic and political implications of these ecological changes.
Funded by the European Research Council (grant agreement 101117105), Land Limits is based at the School of History, University College Dublin
